Review: Andrew McCormick wakes up in a Vegas hotel to find himself married to one of three people wearing unexplained rings. One of his potential marriage partners is Amanda Warrick, and she is the one whom he really wants to get married to.
He pushed her away before in an attempt to protect her from his complex life, but soon he wants her back in his life.
Amanda is unwilling to believe and so Andrew must prove to her that he is serious.
A Pride and Prejudice reenactment, getting married to a cat, and quiet a few hilarious scenes are included in Andrew and Amanda’s story.
At first, the story lacked any material, and I almost put this book down. But then the story picked momentum and Julia’s trademark style, which seemed forced earlier, came back.
Some words were really over the top, but overall the book was funny. Though it was not as enjoyable as the first book in the series.
The plot is not original, but Julia’s witty writing makes this a good enough read.
My Rating: 6 out 10
Recommended For: Romantic comedy fans and Chick Lit fans.
